Album cover artwork for SLC-based progressive metal band SINDAR. Their Tolkien-inspired album “Splintered Light” can be heard on their Bandcamp site.
The stark black-and-white art style of this piece was inspired in a large part from the pixel artwork of late 1980’s Macintosh computer games, such as the dungeon-delving platform scrollers Dark Castle and Beyond Dark Castle.
